Azimuth is set in a TL 11 future and uses the ''Biotech'' and ''Ultra-tech'' supplements. Almost all standard TL 9-11 technology exists, including cybernetics and biotech. Specific superscience technologies exist as well, but are highly restricted. Psychotronics, force field, plasma, contragrav and other undisclosed technologies are controlled by the [[Queen of Light]] and the [[Shiva Space Technology]] division. No explosions or powered weaponry can be used at the Tower of Light, but all manner of standard (non-superscience), unpowered non-lethal and melee weaponry is available.
 
Vehicles that transport people to and from the Tower of Light include submarines, fusion-powered watercraft, and Vertols. Microplanes, mini-subs, hovertanks, and ATVs provide shorter-range, smaller scale transport.
