Queen of Light

The Queen of Light (also The Silver Queen, The Lightbringer, The Lady of Truth) is the ruler of the Tower of Light. She lives in The Spire, the highest section of the tower, where she is the sole resident. The Queen is regarded by most as a transcended being, no longer human. Some regard her as a goddess, and the Church of Light is an organization devoted to her praise and worship. The Queen's appearance is described as beautiful and transcendent. She stands 5'6", with a subtle silver luminosity to her skin, shimmering blonde hair, and almond-shaped eyes that radiate white light. She is typically seen in raiment reminiscent of ancient Egyptian style, silver with embroidered squares of black and purple running along the middle of the front. Those that have seen her have confirmed that she does not seem to age, and has looked the same ever since she first transcended in the twenty-first century.

Much mythology surrounds the Queen. She is known to be a great inventor and scientist, and also to possess psionic powers. The extent of her abilities is unknown, but is the subject of much speculation by her most at the Tower of Light, whether or not they are a part of the Church of Light. She is also believed to hold power over space and time. The Queen is rarely seen in person, and is said to spend much of her time personally overseeing the war against the Eggs. It is rumored that she has even spent considerable time off-world.

The Queen has generally been seen in the company of one or both Trandroids, though recently she is more often accompanied by Ellen Santiago, regarded by many to be her bodyguard and assistant since she came to the Tower of Light in 2103.

History

The Queen of Light was formerly known as Sarah McKillup. She was a child prodigy and championship swimmer, and in her adult life rose to lead the Azimuth corporation prior to The Attack by the Eggs, and later served at Thaumas I as a founding member of Team Omega. During her time at Azimuth, she was one of the progenitors of the first generation of psis: Jack Fletcher, Roberto Garza, Kozmo Espinosa Kaminski, Walter Lewis, and Teresa May. During her time with Team Omega, she helped repel the Egg invasion of earth, halting their plans to bore a hole to the earth's core and ultimately destroy the planet to serve the ends of The Enemy.
