The Shiva Space Technology Division, or SST, oversees the manufacture and maintenance of the Lewis Spheres and all related technology at the Tower of Light. SST is administered directly by the Queen of Light, and most of its procedures and capabilities are undisclosed. SST has a separate computer system that operates independently from Infinite Echo and can only be accessed by persons specifically approved by the Queen. It is not known precisely how many people work in the SST, or what their functions are. SST has secure locations throughout The Upper in the Tower of Light, and at times accounts for some 80%+ of all power consumption at the tower.
