Itoh Tama

Itoh Tama (b. 694, Kondo town) is the only daughter of Itoh Kosho, and the twin sister of Itoh Izo. She is known to be light-hearted and pleasant, but also a hard worker and shrewd in matters of business, as she was taught by her father the same as her brothers.
Tama was married to renown Dewa swordsman, Ishimaru Tetsuo, in the winter of 721, in a hasty ceremony attended by almost no one of significance. Like the rest of her family, she is a practitioner of Shinto.
