Team Delta

Established in 1973, this team of military and scientific operatives assists NASA Special Operations in a variety of tasks necessary to the completion of many missions. Team Delta operates under the command of Colonel R.J. McKenna, a US Special Forces Commander and liaison to NASA Special Operations. The team headquarters are at Moffett Field in Hangar One, a former dirigible housing facility. The secret nature of the team is kept guarded by the cover story of toxic chemicals in the hangar's construction.

Current Personnel
"Gunny" Max Gates. USMC Gunnery Sergeant. Career man. Veteran of first Gulf War. Served in Fallujah during second Gulf War,2003-2006. Assigned to special training duties in Afghanistan, 2006-2009. Speaks Arabic, Farsi, and Pashto, with a little Dari he picked up in-country. Expert on American West. Carries two revolvers modeled after classic six-guns. Joined NASA Special Operations Command in order to enjoy a few quiet years before retirement.
Staff Sergeant John Wilson. USMC. Previously assigned to 5th Marine Reconnaissance Group, Afghanistan.
Lance Corporal Esmerelda Esparza. USMC Corporal. Rifle Corps Marksman. Communications specialist. About to make sergeant. Served under Sgt. Gates for two years in Afghanistan. Loves fast cars, women and guns. Expert in hand-to-hand combat. Determined to have long career in USMC special ops. Currently serving in Afghanistan. Recently requested by Sgt. Gates to accompany Team Delta, this is her first mission with the team.
PFC Lee Linda. USMC. Previous to Team Delta, Linda had been assigned to 5th Marine Reconnaissance Group, Afghanistan. He was promoted to Corporal and assigned to USMC Forces Special Operations Command after Team Delta was disbanded.
