Red Orc

During the winter of 3098KE the elves of the mountains north of Ayr were beset by marauding orc hordes. These orcs were different in appearance, having dark red skin and numerous tattoos on their face and arms. They also seemed more intelligent than the usual orcs, attacking in a strategic and organized fashion.

The red orcs drove the elves from the mountains and took the lands for their own. They have attacked Ayr on several occasions and once ventured to raid as far south as Wicklow. Unlike other orcs, the red orcs have built towns and even begun mining the mountains of coal and ore. They enslave any elves or humans they capture, and are known to participate in the coastal slave trade.
