Magdalena Carter

From GURPSworld Wiki

Description

An attractive and charming woman of independent means, Maggie Carter (b. 1907) is one of the librarians at Libris Adeptus. She is a graduate of Miskatonic University and is currently pursuing post-graduate studies in an unspecified field at USC. She has friendships with Gerhard Thuringer and Ted Webster, as well as acquaintances throughout the occult community of Los Angeles. She is the youngest sister of Randolph Carter and the descendant of Sir Randolph Carter, who had studied magic during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I of England. Sir Randolph had then emigrated to America and his son Edmund Carter later had to flee the Salem witch-trials. Carter also had an ancestor involved in one of the Crusades, who was captured by the Muslims and learned "wild secrets" from them.
