Hank Logue

Hank Logue was born in Portland, Oregon in 1966. He studied electrical engineering at Reed College and earned his masters degree at The University of California at Berkeley. Shortly after graduation, he joined with other Berkeley students in the formation of a solar energy startup, Southbay Solar, in San Jose, California. The company persisted, despite being perpetually at the edge of bankruptcy, until it received some much-needed venture capital in 2015. Following this infusion of capital, Southbay Solar was able to purchase stakes in several other regional solar energy companies in California and the Southwest. It was from this that the Azimuth corporation formed. Logue took on the position of CEO, and recruited friend and fellow Berkeley engineering graduate student, James Nishimoto to come aboard as his chief technical officer and second in the Azimuth Corporation.

Azimuth flourished rapidly in the green energy boom of the second decade of the 21st century. Nishimoto proved to have several revolutionary ideas about solar power collection, the most notable of which was solar paint. Solar paint allowed Azimuth to greatly increase its ability to harness solar power throughout cities all over the country. Logue's primary contribution as CEO was his ability to make very profitable decisions when it came to diversification. With the capital generated from Nishimoto's innovations, Azimuth was able to acquire up-and-coming technology companies across a wide array of fields, including early forays into computing, biotechnology, industrial engineering, and aeronautical engineering.

Within a decade of its formation, Azimuth was the largest solar power company in the United States and, after acquiring several major solar power companies in other regions over the following years, the largest solar power company in the world. By 2034, a mere 18 years after its founding, Azimuth would become the largest energy provider in the world, thanks to a hospitable climate for green energy, the decline of the oil giants, shrewd business decisions on the part of Hank Logue, and innovative technologies developed under the direction of James Nishimoto. At the time of his retirement in 2038, Azimuth remained the largest energy company in the world, and the third-largest company in the world, behind Toyota-Mitsubishi and Wal-Mart.

Personal Life

Hank Logue was never one for the limelight, and has maintained his privacy throughout his retirement. He resides somewhere in Costa Rica with his wife, Maria.
