Conan of Gunderland

Conan was born and lived his early life in Gunderland, in northern Aquilonia near the Cimmerian border. His mother is half-Cimmerian, his father Aquilonian. He was named for the hero and king, Conan the Cimmerian. When he was a teenager, he was selected to study under master astronomer Linius Lazitus at Mount Golamiral in eastern Aquilonia. He studied there for five years, before growing restless and traveling to Tarantia in search of adventure. Conan is unusually tall with long brown hair and a large unruly beard. He wears the garb and sandals common to Aquilonians, sporting cream, royal blue, and powder blue clothing, all beneath a heavy, blue-gray cloak. He carries a satchel and a large knife he call's "Eagle's Beak." He enjoys staying up late carousing and singing in alehouses.
