The Choronzon Club is an occult organization founded in 1922 by Balthazar Gehenna. Initially dedicated to developing and teaching a "shortcut to initiation," over the years the group evolved into an organization of eclectic magicians dedicated to experimentation and exploration among the outer realms of occult knowledge. Their primary influences are Thelema, Vodun, Neo-Pythagoreanism, and Gnosticism. They are one of the few small occult societies to survive the 1930s.

A chapter of the club known as "the Kali-Fornian Chapter" is located in Los Angeles. It is thought to be headed by occultist Freddie Gumm and uses the Caissa Chess Club as cover for its meetings.
