Aurora Station Security Patrol
The following ships will be stationed at Aurora Station and will be assigned primary responsibility for patrolling and securing the area within 500 parsecs of the starbase, known as Aurora Sector. These ships may have additional scientific missions as noted.

Aurora Sector Assignments
The following ships are assigned to the exploration and survey of local space (regions within 1500 parsecs of Aurora sector). Their primary missions will be survey and exploration, as well as first contact and diplomatic missions. These ships may have additional dedicated scientific missions as noted. Aurora Station is their primary base of operations.

Deep Sapce Assignments
The following ships are assigned to deep-space penetration and exploration. They will travel at high warp and explore the most distant regions of the galactic core. Their primary missions will be exploration and some first contact. These tours of duty are scheduled to last several years. Aurora Station is their primary base of operations.

Future Missions
It is anticipated that further survey and exploration of space beyond the “local area” (1500 parsecs surrounding Aurora Sector) will become necessary after stardate 3710. Additional ships may be assigned to Starbase Aurora at that time. Further, the missions of vessels assigned to local space may be extended at that time.
