Willa Sanders

Willa Sanders (b. September 12, 2019 in Baltimore, Maryland) was a sergeant in Halon special forces Division 20. She now resides aboard Thaumas I and serves as both the de facto leader of Division 20 and as Jack Fletcher's bodyguard. She is part of a group of former Halon soldiers who call themselves the Earth Resistance. Willa also teaches unarmed combat techniques to military personnel.

Prior to serving aboard Thaumas I, Willa served in Halon for seven years, with five of those as a member of Division 20. Prior to that, she served as a bodyguard to Halon executives. She is known for her devotion to her teams and her sacrificial acts in the face of mortal peril, and was a recipient of the Halon Medal of Valor. She was the Halon Armed Services MMA champion in the women's light-heavyweight division in 2041, 2042, and 2043. She was disqualified from further participation when she received cybernetic enhancements on the order of Division 20 command in 2044.
