Thaumas I is the first of four Thaumas colonies planned for construction under the Thaumas Program. It is located in the Pacific Ocean, near the island chain of Kiribati. It is scheduled to be completed by November of 2042, and is already inhabited by upwards of 20,000 colonists. The chief engineer and director of Thaumas 1 is [[Harold Tran]].
