Magic in Dark Energy

Magic in Dark Energy is confined to the cosmic voids that form vast, largely-empty bubbles of space between the galactic filaments that stretch across the universe. While magic has only been confirmed in the Local Void, it is presumed to exist in any void with a high enough ratio of dark energy to dark matter. The mana level of the void is normal, though some thaumatologists believe pockets of high or very high mana could exist in the remotest areas of the void, or possibly even on inhabited worlds. Human oral history from various worlds in The Four contain stories of legendary sites where great miracles have been performed.

Magic and Parahumans

Humans and Parahumans in Dark Energy exhibit different magical abilities. Humans from different worlds excel in different types of magic and, while humans have the potential to learn any college of magic, most have abilities that are confined to a handful of colleges. Parahumans have been found to have limited magical ability, with different races having access to different magical colleges. The known magical abilities of parahumans are as follows:
