Ranger Elayne

(Redirected from First Ranger)Ranger Elayne, also known as The First Ranger, is the popular name of a gunfighter and law enforcement officer in Avondale Barony. She is known for her opposition to the criminal gangs throughout Avondale. Her close friendship with Baron Giroux is the subject of much gossip in Riverrun.
As a private citizen, Elayne and her companions took it upon themselves to oppose Lord Tiber and his vast criminal enterprises. This also brought them into conflict with Helles Angels, a violent gang that controls north Riverrun. Elayne ultimately succeeded in proving Tiber's criminal activities, resulting in the seizure of his properties and his temporary exile from public life.
In early 3085, Elayne purchased the old Ranger Stronghold, held in keeping by the White Brotherhood of Avalone. There she established a home and base of operations for herself and her companions. Several others joined her at what became known as Edenvale Station.
Later that year Elayne led several expeditions into the Greendread.
Companions
- Lisa Chan. A female warrior and wizard, highly skilled in hand-to-hand combat as well as the magical arts, Lisa is known for her reluctance to kill. She comes from the same world as the Ranger and has traveled with her from the beginning.
- Ambrose of Aquilonia. A bold and fearless warrior, said by some to be a descendant of the Slayers of the north. He has traveled with Elayne and Lisa from the beginning, though he hails from a world that is only known as fictional to them.
- Doolish Lóegaire. A sharp-witted and courteous scholar with a facility for languages and science, Doolish joined the Ranger and her companions in Riverrun.
