This is the best available conceptual model for use by magicians and occultists in understanding the planar arrangement of the cosmos. Planes are here arranged according to the general conception of the Astral or "heavenly" planes as being above the Material Plane, and the Qlippothic or "hellish" realms located below the Material Plane. Additionally the Outer Planes are depicted as distant and of different texture than the Inner Planes, as well as located below the Qlippothic.
