Monocrys Bodysuit

see GURPS: Ultra Tech p. 172

This is Star Fleet issue concealable ballistic body armor. It is typically issued when encounters with primitive (pre-TL10, i.e. non-phaser/laser using) hostiles are expected.

It is flexible, so for every full 10 points of cutting, impaling, or piercing damage or 5 points of crushing damage stopped by DR, 1 HP blunt trauma causes actual injury (B379). If the DR of the armor is penetrated, then there is no blunt trauma effect.

Monocrys is a TL 11 material. This bodysuit covers the body and limbs. Cost is $900. Weight is 6 lbs. LC 3.
