April 1924

Friday, April 18

Dr. Jeffrey Parkman interviews Gil Henson and accepts Henson in to dream study group.

Abraham Browning begins working at Zhang's in Chinatown.

Saturday, April 19

Father Gus Werner arrives in Los Angeles.

Gil Henson gets thrown out of Zhang's by Abram.

Monday, April 21

Parkman meets Werner.

Tuesday, April 22

Keaton accompanies Parkman to police station.

Wednesday, April 23

Around one in the morning, someone breaks into the Parkman residence and steals his files.

Parkman and Keaton go to Gil Henson's show at the Blue Lotus.

Late that night, Abram and Aaron break into Lau Cho's office.

Parkman and Keaton are kidnapped and taken to Zhang's, where Aaron and Abram help them escape.

Thursday, April 24

Parkman, Keaton, Abram and Aaron hole up in a cheap hotel near Venice Beach.

Los Angeles police raid Zhang's, allowing the team to investigate more thoroughly. A secret sacrificial chamber is discovered.

An arrest warrant is issued for Lau Cho, who goes into hiding.

Friday, April 25

Police raid Zhang's upstairs opium parlor and arrest several people, including Wu Song, an apothecary.

Lau Cho appears in the dreams of Parkman, Keaton, and Abram, demanding the return of all items that to not belong to them.

Photographs of the ceremonial altar and room are prepared.

Several items belonging to Lau Cho are recovered by Abram and Keaton from a Chinatown criminal.

Saturday, April 26

Police receive tip regarding Wu Song and his involvement with the opium business.

Around 1:00 AM, Parkman is attacked in his home. Across town, someone tries to break in to Keaton's lab, but the alarms and Abram scare the thief away.

Sunday, April 27

While recovering from the attack, Parkman receives a call from Kolchak. Police searched Wu Song's apothecary store and found an opium factory in the basement and the ceremonial cup and sacrificial dagger in his living quarters. Wu Song has confessed to the murders of the four Chinese women.

Monday, April 28

Wu Song pleads guilty and is sentenced to life at hard labor.
