A secret society of nine individuals, most of whom are occultists or magicians, who have taken upon themselves the task of locating and securing powerful and dangerous magical artifacts. Also known as the Promethean Society, this group should not be confused with the Promethean Foundation.

Membership

Membership in the Society is by invitation only.

Known Members

While most of the members of the Society desire secrecy, a few individuals have allowed their membership to become "public" knowledge - that is, their membership and purpose is known among other occultists and magicians.

  • Gerhard Thuringer, professor of philosophy and religion at USC.
  • Ted Webster, professor of archaeology and anthropology at USC.
  • Lady Margaret Jameson, heiress and occultist, former student of Aleister Crowley and Solomon Tophet.
