You read the sign right: That's ANGLE city. The artist fella who painted that was high as a kite. Shop owner Artie Harris was going to make the artist repaint it, but the next day his show opened and the people who noticed (a lot fewer than you'd think) seemed to like it. Former site of Wilshire Bowl, this is a large pawn shop with many weapons for sale. Artie is known for his taste in fine weapons and watches. He's a mundane fellow who jokes about magic swords, but doesn't believe in any of that “Hobbit-crap.” Harris wants to make a deal. Any attempt for information will require payment of some kind. If the investigators make it clear they intend to purchase the items, Harris will answer any questions; though he is a Compulsive Liar and Compulsive Storyteller, he is at least also Easy to Read.
