Lord Itoh Tadahisa is the second son of [[Itoh Kosho]]. He succeeded his father as the lord of [[Kondo]] town and its environs in 721. At the time of his father's death, Itoh Tadahisa was assisting lords [[Nakamura Reizo]] and [[Uchida Tatsuya]] in a minor campaign against some Emishi villages in the Ou mountains, at the command of Governor [[Kiyohara Noburo]].
